The REAL DEAL on B.O.M.B. Juvia's Place: Full Collection Review and Swatches on Brown (NC50) Skin
Hey Brown Girl!
So today I'm dishing out all the details on my experience with Juvia's Place. I know not everyone digs reading, so if your not the reading type, watch my video review below, and then precede to scroll through my post to view swatches afterward.
Now, to be completely honest I was NOT planning on trying Juvia's Place in my lifetime. I feared having to deal with bad customer service. I truly value my shopping experience and didn't want my coin to turn into a stressful situation. So, after watching Alissa Ashley, and tons of other YouTube reviews I left them alone.
What made me give them a try?
A fellow beauty blogger, @mattesandmetallics, told me about her experience. She said she never experienced anything bad with Juvia's Place and she RAVED about the pigmentation and beauty of each palette she owned. SO I decided to try out the saharan palette.
The pigmentation on the Saharan Palette is super bomb. It's now on sale for $25, but when I purchased it was $30. I used a coupon code and was able to save 10%, which was cool. Overall, I had nothing to complain about with this order. It got to me in 3 business days, and it was LOVELY.
So I went ahead and ordered the Nubian 1, Nubian 2, Masquerade Mini, and both the Saharan Blush Volume 1 and Volume 2 palettes.
This time my order took longer to arrive. I recieved my package in eight business days. This isn't that bad, but considering how quickly I received my order the first time, I was shocked and impatient. Not to mention, my package didn't arrive in good condition. The palettes were protruding out of the top of the box. I was sure that something would be damaged during my initial inspection, but to my surprise everything was fine. Once I swatched each palette my anger lessened. The palettes are just so bomb. Dope designs and stellar pigmentation just heightens my inner makeup junkie, sooo with two positive experiences under my belt, I decided to order the Magic Palette.
The palette design on the Magic Palette is so beautiful. That alone lured me into wanting to purchase. Once I saw the Day shades (first eight) and the Night shades (last eight) I was REALLY feeling it! I purchased this palette with my own coin (jusssst like all my other orders) and was beyond satisfied with the overall feel and quality. The palette size is HUGE! It's so amazing girl. This order took less than a week to arrive and was packaged very well. So, I decided to make my fourth purchase by picking up the ZULU palette.
I unboxed the Zulu palette on my YouTube Channel, which you can view the video beginning with the unboxing by clicking here. The palette design for this palette is so beautiful, but I did find that some of the matte shades are harder to work with than in Juvia's other palettes. Overall it is very fun and flattering palette for my skin-tone.
What About Customer Service tho?
Girl to be honest, I didn't ever have to contact them because all of my orders were on point. I would get a email confirming my order. Then when my order was shipped I got a notification. Once my order was delivered I received another email. So, I honestly felt like they wanted me to be informed though the entire process. I feel like that courtesy in itself is good customer care. Not to mention my palettes were packaged in a manner that got my product to me damage free. I wish I could tell you how the employees interact with us as customers, but I can let you know they are putting in work so that you don't even have to hit them up at all! They have been so on point for all FOUR of my orders.
