Hey Brown Girl!
We are popping off the week with another bombshell review. Today we are going to review the Nubian palette by Juvia's Place. This palette is currently selling on the Juvia's Place website for $25, and it comes with 12 shades. Eight shimmers and four matte shades. I have chosen to swatch the first six metallic shades in the palette. You can find them pictured below:
I am a JUVIA'S PLACE FAN! Girl, no lie. Listen, I'll be a brand ambassador any day for them! At this point I have purchased every palette out! I will be doing some comparison reviews and swatches soon, but for now I can say that this palette is very good for neutral looks. This is not going to give you that pop of color look, but you have some really nice transition shades in this palette. Not to mention, the gold and copper metallic shades could be used as a highlight.
These shadows are creamy and so pigmented it is crazy. I utilized this palette for the first time a few days ago, and I paired it with my Saharan palette. The shadows lasted all day long. I did not experience any fading or creasing. I was able to achieve the goddess look I was going for with this palette. I chose not to wear falsies or eyeliner. I wanted the lip color to add the pop.
Overall, I have had a very pleasant experience with Juvia's Place. This order arrived in Two Days and was packaged perfectly. I didn't experience any broken shadows. So... I just placed an order three days ago for the masquerade palette, and both The Saharan I and Saharan II blush palette. I am a little nervous because I haven't received a shipping update for that order yet. Previously, I have received it within one day. This time however, I have yet to get one, but I did order it two days before Mother's Day and they had a Free Shipping special on Mother's Day. My timing is ALWAYS OFF with Juvia's Place! I purchase right before a sale EVERY TIME! Goodness that's a pet peeve lol, but I will keep you guys updated with how my experience is on the last order that I placed.
I hope you loves enjoyed this review! I will catch you loves in the next one.
