Tartelette in Bloom palette Review + Swatches on Brown Skin
Hey Brown Girl!
We are popping the day off with another swatch review. Today we are admiring the Tartelette in Bloom palette in all of its neutral glory. Let's start with the packaging shall we! The floral design on this Tartelette is paired with gold trim and a nice polished finish. It feels very high end, not to mention the actual shadows smell so good! Using this palette lifts my mood for that very reason! I love when products smell good.
The price point on this beauty is not cheap, but for a high end brand its not crazily expensive either. I think its a nice mid-point price for a palette. The quality is definitely worth it. Below are some of the swatches on my brown skin. From top to bottom the shades are as follows: Funny girl, Firecracker, Rocker, Leader, Rebel, Activist, Sweetheart, and Jetsetter.
These shades are very blend-able and build-able. The pigmentation is not super amazing, but it really gets the job done. I like the fact that I can build up the intensity. This is one of my staple palettes for most of my day and night looks. The transition shades in the palette are on point. My favorite two colors are Firecracker (for shimmer), and Jetsetter (for a matte transition shade).
Overall, I love this palette. It is most certainly brown girl friendly.
