Smolder Cosmetics Loose Glam Dust, Liquid Matte Lipstick, and Radiant Glitter Swatches and Review on Brown Skin
Hey Brown Girl!
We are ending out the week with another bomb swatch pary! Today we are reviewing Smolder Cosmetics, an LA Based brand that has changed the game with their bombshell glitter pigments. I have four Loose Glam Dust pigments ($9 USD), one Radiant Glitter ($9 USD), one Illuminator ($14.50 USD), and one Liquid Matte Lipstick ($15 USD) that we will swatch in this post!
Below are swatches of: the Aqua Radiant Glitter; Cranberry, Burnt Copper, Pink Gold, and Bronze Glow Loose Glam Dust pigments; and one Illuminator in the color Golden Glow.
The Aqua Radiant Glitter was applied with the Dazzle Lock Primer. The holographic glitter is a really nice size. It's not too fine so application is easy. You must apply it with a primer or glitter glue, otherwise it will not stick. It's literally a loose glitter but its SO SO PRETTY! I envisioned mermaid makeup looks when I picked out this color. I definitely plan on utilizing it this for summer looks.
GIRL! I don't even know where to begin. The pigmentation Smolder brings to your vanity is CRAZY! I'll show you a live swatch in a sec, but lets just admire the beauty presented before us. Smolder has a variety of colors on their site, but I choose these colors because I know for a fact that you cannot go wrong with gold, cranberry, or copper. These shades undoubtedly flatter brown skin tones.
The Loose Glam Dust has a very creamy consistency. It rich in color and gets stronger in pigmentation as you blend it into your skin. It's very easy to apply with your finger or with a brush. You do not need a primer or glitter glue for application. I love the versatility for application. It can be used as an eyeshadow, on top of your favorite lipstick, or as a highlighter and It's only $9! Can we say STEAL?! No for real though, this is definitely a huge plus for me. I am always brainstorming ways to get the most use out of my makeup products. I am a firm believer in making the most out of what you have. You can also mix it with the dazzle lock primer and use it as a liner. Winning!
The Smolder Liquid Matte Lipstick applies so smoothly! It is very pigmented as well and didn't leave my lips feeling dry. You can see it applies with ease in my recent Instagram clip I have below. I decided to add the Cranberry Loose Glam Dust on top and the combo blew me away! I definitely want to try out the holographic glitter paired with a lippie. I can only imagine how magical it would be!
I'm so in love with the @smoldercosmetics Loose Glam Dust 😍. In this clip I swatched Bronze Glow. The pigmentation on the loose glam Dust is CRAZY! Girl... They can be used without primer or glue and look so bomb on top of lippies. I paired the Royal liquid matte lipstick with Cranberry Loose Glam Dust and it created a BOMBSHELL slay 👑.
